Since 1999, Anthony has served on the board of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. On October 27, 2005 he was elected President of the Genesee Valley Trial Lawyers Association. The Genesee Valley Trial Lawyers is a regional affiliate of the New York State Trial Lawyers and includes trial lawyers from Cayuga, Livingston, Monroe , Ontario , Seneca, Steuben, Wayne and Yates counties. On June 29 th 2006 he was awarded the 2006 Civil Justice Award by the New York State Trial Lawyers. The award is given annually to trial lawyers who give time and effort to advance the cause of the right to trial by jury and to help those who are wrongfully killed or injured.

Anthony is a sustaining member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and achieved advocate status by the National College of Advocacy. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Monroe County Bar Association. He has a peer review rating with the prestigious Martindale Hubble . He is also a frequent lecturer, and has been invited by organizations such as the New York State Bar Association, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, and the Monroe County Bar Association to lecture on topics including automobile insurance law, construction accident law, premises liability, municipal liability, and the use of the Internet in the practice of law.
