< MEET THE TEAM Edward W. McKowne Licensed Workers’ Compensation Representative Edward represents injured workers before the Workers’ Compensation Board and disabled clients before the Social Security Administration in their claims for social security disability benefits. Before joining Faraci Lange in 1999, Edward worked for the State Insurance Fund, first as a workers’ compensation examiner and later as a hearing representative, appearing before the Workers’ Compensation Board and its appeals board. As a hearing representative, Edward cross-examined medical and lay witnesses and presented oral and written arguments for as many as 50 cases per week. He also headed the N.Y. State Insurance Fund Hearing Unit. Before joining the State Insurance Fund, he worked as a credit analyst with Dunn & Bradstreet.
