The drunk driver fled the scene and was later arrested, but the plaintiff was left with multiple injuries. She lost all of her front teeth, crushing her gums, and sustained lacerations on her chin and forehead which required stitches. The plaintiff had a fractured femur that required an open reduction internal fixation (2 screws and a rod) and now walks with a permanent limp.

The plaintiff was at a stoplight behind another vehicle when her car was violently struck from behind by the defendant’s vehicle. The plaintiff suffered a re-tear of her left rotator cuff which had been surgically repaired only four months earlier and had to undergo a second surgery. She sustained bilateral knee injuries and fractured ribs as well as injuries to her head, wrist, ankle, neck and lower back.
The firm effectively resolved a claim on behalf of a Victor man who was injured in a car accident on State Route 96. The plaintiff was traveling westbound on State Route 96 when the defendant ran the stop sign at the County Road 28 intersection causing the two vehicles to violently collide. The plaintiff sustained a right shoulder injury including a full thickness tear of the right rotator cuff with impingement on the cuff. This injury has affected the plaintiff’s comfort permanently as he will continue to have weakness and discomfort in his right shoulder for the rest of his life.
Faraci Lange successfully resolved a product liability case for a Victor man who was injured when an articulating ladder collapsed after he climbed above one of the joints. We were able to demonstrate a defect in the design of the hinged joint that permitted the joint to click as if it were fully locked even though it was not.
Faraci Lange successfully resolved a case against designer and manufacturer for injured Victor hunter who fell while putting up a deer stand with inadequate design, inadequate safety warning and inadequate user instructions. The 15 foot ladder stand had a three section ladder the sections of which were held together by a male/female joint with no device to prevent the ladder sections for separating. The man sustained a serious spinal injury when the top section separated from the platform while he was ascending the ladder.
Faraci Lange successfully resolved a case for a Victor woman who severely injured her sacroiliac joint when she fell in a newly renovated local arena because it was not constructed in accordance with the renovation plans and specifications. While walking with her children on a crowded walkway she fell into a deep drop off immediately adjacent to the walkway. The renovation plans and specifications had no such drop off because, as the defendants admitted, it would create a falling hazard. As a result of her injury, she has constant pain and is disabled from the career she loved.
