Webster, NY personal injury attorneys
Since 1968, Faraci Lange has successfully resolved thousands of personal injury cases for clients. The following case summaries, from clients in Webster, New York, represent just a tiny fraction of our many success stories.
Faraci Lange successfully resolved a case on behalf of a Webster man who was injured in a car accident in which the other driver was the negligent party. The plaintiff sustained a severe injury to the cervical spine and suffers from referred neck pain in his shoulders and triceps and tightness in his neck and upper back. He will forever have to live with constant severe posttraumatic headaches which require the frequent use of pain medication.
Faraci Lange successfully resolved a motorcycle accident case for a Webster man who was injured while riding his motorcycle down Lake Road in Webster. A woman driving an SUV pulled out of her driveway in front of our client causing him to crash his motorcycle directly into the side of her SUV. The client suffered multiple injuries including right nasal bone fracture, traumatic contusion of his lung, and left adrenal hemorrhage to name a few.
The client’s most serious injuries consist of right wrist and left leg and knee injuries. The left leg injuries include a severely comminuted intra-articular, open fracture of his distal left femur (left thigh bone broken into a number of pieces) that has still not healed despite multiple surgeries. He is unable to bear weight on that leg and has a substantial risk of developing early onset, post-traumatic arthritis in his knee and his wrist from the severe injuries. The knee injury has also left him with a 1½ inch leg length discrepancy, which is permanent, requires a shoe lift and may lead to more pain and worse arthritis in the future.
Our client is left with permanent scarring on his left leg, right wrist and face and will have ongoing pain and significantly limited use of his left leg for the rest of his life.
We successfully resolved a claim on behalf of a Webster man who was travelling on Chili Avenue when a tractor trailer suddenly turned left in front of him, failing to yield the right of way. He sustained complete rotator cuff avulsion and damage to his infraspinatus and subscapularis muscles. He underwent rotator cuff tear repair and acromioplasty surgery followed by physical therapy. Unfortunately, he still continued to have pain and limited range of motion. Nerve conduction studies demonstrated ulnar neuropathy at his elbow (cubital tunnel syndrome) and sensory neuropathy in his hand.
Faraci Lange successfully resolved at trial a claim on behalf of a brain damaged infant and her family from Webster. Her mother had what is called a velamentous insertion of the umbilical cord which left the blood vessels unprotected. During labor the mother began to bleed severely but the doctors failed to recognize the problem. At birth the child was severely hypovolemic due to blood loss, which also went unrecognized until she suffered a permanent brain injury.
Faraci Lange successfully resolved a case on behalf of a Webster resident who lost the majority of sight in one eye due to the failure to diagnose a retinal detachment. Only after persistent complaints was the diagnoses made by another provider as a result the patient underwent procedures and lost the majority of vision in the right eye, including severe photosensitivity.
Faraci Lange successfully prosecuted a claim on behalf of a Webster resident who suffered severe eye injuries as a result of a defective spring mechanism. The spring mechanism caused severe trauma to the eye, requiring multiple surgical procedures, including a corneal transplant. Client now has a deformity to the eye, as well as diminished vision and photosensitivity.
Faraci Lange successfully prosecuted a claim on behalf of a Webster resident who suffered severe and life threatening injuries as a result of a work related injury where he fell approximately 40 feet to the ground. The worker sustained bi-lateral arm and leg injuries and spinal injuries. The injuries required an extensive hospitalization and rehabilitation process, surgical procedures, including open reduction internal fixations. The patient now walks with a permanent limp and is unable to work.
