< MEET THE TEAM Laurie Ann Donofrio Associate Laurie focuses her legal practice on personal injury litigation, including medical malpractice, and collaborative matrimonial law, a powerfully effective, creative and civilized approach to negotiating divorce or separation agreements. Before joining Faraci Lange in 1999, Laurie was a general litigator for the firm of Fix, Spindelman, Brovitz, Turk, Himelein & Shukoff, P.C., in Rochester, N.Y. She concentrated on insurance defense law, personal injury and medical malpractice litigation. She also practiced matrimonial, family and education law. Laurie earned her law degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School in 1991, where she received the Bizon Award in clinical legal studies for trial advocacy. In addition, she has been an active member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the New York State and Monroe Country Bar Associations, Association of Collaborative Family Law Attorneys and the Greater Rochester Association for Women Attorneys. She also is a member of the board of directors for both the Society for the Protection and Care of Children.
