Julie S. Jordan
Ms. Jordan graduated cum laude from Syracuse University College of Law where she was an associate editor for the Syracuse University Journal of International Law and Commerce, and the American Bar Association's Journal, The Labor Lawyer. Ms. Jordan was also a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and Syracuse University’s National Trial Team. As a third year law student, Ms. Jordan won the Lionel O. Grossman Trial Competition and was awarded the Best Advocate Award for the final round of that competition. Upon graduation, Ms. Jordan was inducted into the Order of Barristers and was recognized in Who’s Who Among American Law Students.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Jordan practiced for five and a half years as an associate in the litigation department of Woods Oviatt Gilman LLP.
Ms. Jordan is a recipient of the Daily Record’s 2010 Up and Coming Attorneys Award.
She is a member of the American Association for Justice, the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers, the Monroe County and New York State Bar Associations, and the Greater Rochester Association for Women Attorneys.
In addition to her professional affiliations, Ms. Jordan serves on the Young Alumni Council of the University of Rochester, and is the 2001 Class Gift Chair for the University of Rochester. She is also a member of the Rochester Women’s Network, and the Women’s Council of the Rochester Business Alliance. Ms. Jordan is a former Board Member of the Rochester Chapter of the National Association for Women Business Owners, and a former Board Member of the Rochester Mental Health Association.
