Laurie A. Donofrio

Associate
Laurie focuses her legal practice on personal injury litigation, including automobile litigation, medical malpractice, and collaborative matrimonial law. She has been with the firm since 1999. Her background includes insurance defense litigation and education law with an emphasis on representing students with disabilities.

Laurie is admitted to the New York State Bar and to the Federal District Court in the Western District. She is a graduate of the University of Rochester where she received both her BA and MS degrees. Laurie earned her law degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School, where she received the Birzon Award in clinical legal studies for trial advocacy. In addition, she is an active member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the New York State and Monroe Country Bar Associations, Association of Collaborative Family Law Attorneys, and the Greater Rochester Association for Women Attorneys. Laurie has a peer review rating with the prestigious Martindale Hubble.

Laurie is a former board member and former board president for the Society for the Protection and Care of Children, former member of the Maplewood YMCA Board of Managers and The ARC of Monroe County Guardianship Committee. She has also served as past chair and co-chair of the St. Joseph School Advisory Committee.
