Ruth is a native of Rochester. She attended Nazareth Academy and Monroe Community College. She has been working in the legal field since 1978; first as a legal secretary for Raymond Pauley and then as a litigation secretary with the firm of Harris, Beach.

Ruth joined the Faraci Lange firm in 1988 as a paralegal concentrating on the large number of asbestos injury cases handled by the firm; work in which she continues to be involved. She has also assisted in other mass tort cases including the breast implant litigation. Ruth now focuses on motor vehicle, wrongful death and medical malpractice cases. Ruth also coordinates benefits for asbestos clients from a variety of bankruptcy plans. Ruth works closely with attorney Matt Belanger.
