Angelo G. Faraci founded the law firm that bears his name in 1968 and has been representing victims of negligence for over 50 years. He focuses his legal practice on personal injury litigation, primarily in the areas of medical malpractice, product liability, premises liability, wrongful death, construction-related injuries, automobile accidents, toxic tort cases and admiralty cases.
Considered one of the leading plaintiff’s trial advocates in Western New York, Angelo has been listed in the Personal Injury Law Section of The Best Lawyers in America since its inception in 1983. In 2013, Angelo was selected as Best Lawyers’ Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs Lawyer of the Year in Rochester, NY. In 2012 and in 2010, Angelo was selected as Best Lawyers’ Medical Malpractice Lawyer of the Year in Rochester, NY and in 2009, Angelo was honored by being named Best Lawyers’ Rochester Personal Injury Litigator of the Year. He was inducted into the International Academy of Trial Lawyers in July 2003 and has been awarded Martindale-Hubbell’s highest rating. In addition, Angelo has been selected as one of Upstate New York’s Super Lawyers in personal injury litigation every year since 2007, and was among the Top 50 Super Lawyers in Upstate New York in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2012.
Angelo is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers having been inducted in 1978. He also is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the New York State Bar Association, the Monroe County Bar Association and the Civil Justice Foundation.
A well-known expert on trial advocacy, Angelo has given seminars on the subject for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy, Cornell University Law School, Hofstra University Law School and Emory University Law School. He is a frequent lecturer for the New York State Bar Association, the New York Trial Lawyers Association and the Monroe County Bar Association. Most recently, he participated in “A Trial Demonstration of a Products Liability Case” playing the role of the plaintiff’s counsel. This CLE program was sponsored by the Monroe County Bar Association in collaboration with the Rochester Chapter of ABOTA & the Foundation of the American Board of Trial Advocates and took place in May of 2012.
Also in 2012, Angelo was selected to become a Certified Federal Court Mediator in the Western District of New York.
