Anna L. Piniewski joined Faraci Lange’s Buffalo office in January of 2017 as a nurse consultant, supporting firm attorneys in investigating and litigating personal injury claims. She works as an advocate for patients and the medical care they deserve to receive.
After graduating from Trocaire College with a degree in Surgical Technology, Anna worked for five years as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST). She then attended Erie Community College to obtain her associate’s degree in nursing and after graduating in 1987, went back to the operating room as a Surgical Nurse (CNOR). In 1992, Anna went back to school for her certification as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) in the operating room.
Anna has spent nearly 36 years working in the operating room, with the last 25 years as an RN First Assistant in many surgical specialties. These included then years as a Cardiothoracic First Assistant at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Cleveland Clinic, and in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She continued in Cardiac Surgery as a Clinical Coordinator for the start up of two different Cardiac surgery programs.
Before joining the Faraci Lange team, Anna worked as a CRNFA at Kaleida Health in Buffalo, NY, where she focused on orthopedic surgery.
