Faraci Lange legal nurse consultant and active member of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants (AALNC), Elizabeth K. Zorn, recently published the following article in the Spring 2016 issue of the Journal of Legal Nurse Consulting about the acquisition of medical literature and full-text information for case research.
Legal nurse consultants must learn to identify medical resources that are reliable and authoritative and to manage the costs associated with them. The AALNC sent out a questionnaire asking LNCs about their sources for obtaining full-text medical literature and other types of medical information, their costs, and whether these costs are passed along to attorney clients.
